House GOP settles for defunding Mayorkas after not being able to Impeach him
Guys the McCarthy 2.0 tenure is finally working
One of the things the House GOP has been trying to do is impeach Mayorkas because he is complicit in this invasion of our country by the third world. Despite being the majority they can't seem to rid this man from his post no matter how many people died from illegals under his watch. It just won't happen as he will serve till the end or be replaced by another copycat which will be voted in by the senate Republicans since rocking the boat is just too unoptical for independents.
Well after half a year they finally did something to punish him for his evil. We made the DHS stop paying his salary.
The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to block Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas' salary.
It was an amendment by Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., for the House's appropriations bill funding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for fiscal year 2025, that would block funds in the bill from being used to pay Mayorkas.
Just one Republican voted against the measure, which passed 193 to 173.
"Taxpayers should not be paying an unelected bureaucrat who was impeached by the House. That's why I sponsored an amendment to this year's Homeland Security Appropriations Act to prohibit funding to be used for the salary of DHS Secretary Mayorkas," Biggs wrote on X before the vote.
That is great and all, but he still has his post and can still make decisions on the border and terrorism. Also wasn't he impeached back in February how is he still the secretary of Homeland Security?
He should had been gone since day one and he is still there allowing illegals to roam the streets and arresting American Patriots who talk about it on Social Media.
This proposal also comes with more funding to DHS for the fiscal year. Since apparently stopping him also involves giving him more money when he is still in charge.
The DHS appropriations bill gives the department roughly a $3 billion increase from fiscal year 2024.
It also includes $600 million to fund completion of former President Trump's border wall and provisions to block funding from being used for abortion care and transgender health care for noncitizens detained in ICE custody.
Other amendments that have passed so far include one by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, to prohibit funds from being used to implement policies that would keep asylum seekers in Texas while their claims are being processed.
A measure led by Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., that passed would block DHS from implementing COVID-19 mask policies.
The appropriations bill itself is expected to get a final vote on Friday, though it's highly unlikely to be taken up by the Democrat-led Senate.
The White House has already threatened to veto the measure if it got to President Biden's desk.
The House GOP everyone, Giving the enemy more money thinking if they wrote in all these provisions Biden and Mayorkas would just follow since they are rule following good bois.
Mayorkas isn't going anywhere since the Senate Republicans will keep him or appoint the Biden selected replacement. Hey at least we got him defunded I'm sure this will get the Karens and Independents rallying to vote for us in November after surrendering on everything else.
Remember to voot and donate to win red or Neolib will beat Neocon this year.
